How to Close a Hole in a Flat Amigurumi Piece

In this crochet video tutorial, I am going to show you how to close a hole in a flat Amigurumi piece using single crochet stitches. Closing your Amigurumi piece while using this technique will give you a nice and neat finish plus it will make it easier for you to sew or crochet different body parts to the body or the head of your crochet toy. It can be used to close various parts of your crochet toys such as arms, legs, tails or even ears.

The arm I am closing in this video tutorial is part of my free crochet tiger pattern. Make sure to check it out as I have included lots of helpful video tutorials in this pattern.

This is a question I get asked a lot so I have written a detailed article about what types of yarn there are available and what I personally recommend as the best yarn for Amigurumi crochet.
